

He quickly secured DJ gigs and began a series of "firsts" that would launch his career as Hawaii's premier electronic DJ. In 1985 he traveled to Hawaii for a vacation for his 21st Birthday and fell in love with the islands. He went on work all over the Bay Area at clubs including the famous Endup on Sunday Mornings. By 1979, he finagled a job DJing at the biggest disco club in SF, Studio West. His story begins in San Francisco in 1976 at the Down Under where he cut his teeth as a teenager spinning disco and funk records.

Perhaps his crowning achievement has been introducing house music to Hawaii, providing a foundational pillar of the electronic dance music scene that thrives there to this day. He is equally accomplished as a producer, promoter, and owner of numerous night clubs. Many thousands of dancers and nightclub enthusiasts worldwide will attest to Daniel's unique gifts on the turntables. A legend in Hawaii and the West Coast, Daniel's storied career has taken him from his home in San Francisco to Hawaii and to many points around the globe. His craft is honed by impeccable tastes, three decades of experience, and an uncanny ability to keep ahead of the curve.
